As long as you think of God as outside of you, different than you, or inside of you; you’ll be at war. You’ll never be at perfect peace, not really, for you won’t even know what perfect peace is. You can only imagine it because you’ll be at war with The Real You. If you think you’ve “accepted” Christ and that “God” lives within you, you’ll be at war. And you’re the cause, you’re the cause experiencing the effect of your creation. You’re creating the gap, the gap between you and God so that you can pray to it, worship it, sing to it, bow down before it, struggle with it, try to submit to “its” will so that it will judge you worthy to enter Heaven after you die.
